Summary:

In this lecture, Professor Jiang Zhenjun will review the history of China-Russia Cooperation on economy and trade and analyze the existing problems such as “hot politics-cold economics”, “strong complementarities” and “small mutual investment scale”. Then the professor will make a conclusion on features, forming mechanism and cooperative pattern, propose new development approaches for bilateral economic and trading cooperation. In the end, he will conclude with future growth points between the two countries.

Speaker Biography:

Professor Jiang Zhenjun is a full professor in School of Russian at Heilongjiang University. He is a professional in Sino-Russian regional cooperation, Russia’s national security and Russia’s economy, and one of the members in think tank. He has issued over 50 articles and managed over 10 national, provincial and departmental projects.
