About: 

Xu Yan works on English Language Teaching and Second Language Acquisition. She holds a BA and a MA in English Language and Literature from the Northwest Normal University and a Postgraduate Diploma in English Language Teaching from Nanyang Technological University of Republic of Singapore. She has been teaching many courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students and published a number of articles in ELT and SLA, several textbooks and translations.
