About:
Zhao Xia works on American Literature, Studies on English and Chinese Translation, and College English. She recently hold the positions of Associate Professor in the Institute of English Language and Literature and the supervisor of the graduate programme in American Literature and Studies on English and Chines Translation. She holds a BA and MA in English Language and Literature from the School of Foreign Languages of Lanzhou University, and a Ph.D from the the School of Foreign Languages of Shandong University. She got the sponsorship from China Scholarship Council to work as a visiting scholar for a year in Ohio University in the U.S.A from 2004 to 2005. She participated in Chinese University Teacher Training in English sponsored by both University of Cambridge and Tsinghua University and has successfully delivered an integrated (online with face-to-face) English language course.
