About:
Sang Fengqin works on translation theories and practices, British & American literatures and cultures, College English teaching and research. She holds a B.A. in English Language and Literature and a MA in Translation Studies from Lanzhou University (2006). She co-translated with Professor Zhengmin Miao two books from Chinese into English: Illustrated Introductions to Ethnic Minorities in China (Northwest Volume): The Salar Ethnic Group. edited by Jianxin Yang, Lijuan Yan and Guozhong Ma (2018, The Ethnic Publishing House) and
Illustrated Introductions to Ethnic Minorities in China (Northwest Volume): The Mongolian Ethnic Group. edited by Jianxin Yang and Li Wang (2017, The Ethnic Publishing House). She also co-translated with Professors Liang Zhu and Baoqiong Wang Un Drame en Livonie by Jules Verne from French to Chinese (2011, Huangshan Publishing House).
A number of articles on translation studies, translation teaching, British & American literatures as well as College Language teachings have also been published.
Sang Fengqin has been a Visiting Scholar at French Department, School of Foreign Languages and Literatures in Wuhan University for one year from 2008 to 2009, a Visiting Scholar for one year at the University of Oklahoma from 2019 to 2020.
