The Institute of Translating Studies has a faculty of 18 researchers. They have carried on the fine tradition of literary translation established by the old-generation scholars such as Shui Tiantong, Zi Pei and Pu Long. We have published translations of a large number of classics in literature, history, philosophy and sociology, etc. Among our publications are: Henry Miller, Tropic of Cancer, tran.
