On December 16, Chen Zhigang, Director of the East Asia Office of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD), visited the School of Foreign Languages and Literatures for exchange, and the school held a symposium in Mingdao Building, East District, Chengguan Campus, with Vice Dean Ding Xuhui presiding over it.

Mr. Ding welcomed Director Chen Zhigang and his delegation, and then introduced the basic situation of the school and the breakthroughs in foreign exchange and cooperation in recent years. Director Chen Zhigang introduced the developments of UWTSD, its advantageous majors and the special projects of cooperation with domestic universities. Ms. Zhou Shangqiang introduced the exchange and cooperation between Lanzhou University and UWTSD and the specific projects carried out. They reached a common ground on future exchanges and cooperation.

In the afternoon, the East Asia office assistant of the director of UWTSD, Feng Tingting, gave a presentation on the study abroad program at Tianshan Hall, Yuzhong Campus, which was attended by more than 200 students from the school.

As a partner, UWTSD and our University have been cooperating in short-term courses and degree programs, and our school is actively promoting the implementation of specific cooperation and exchange of students and faculty abroad.
