On September 20, on Track Field of West Chengguan Campus was held the 18th LZU Faculty and Staff Sports Meet. Led by Party Secretary Lu Xiaobing and Dean Zhu Gang, the SFLL team competed with high spirits and tenacious effort, achieving outstanding results across multiple events.

 

 

 

 During the opening ceremony, the school team, confident and energetic, marched with forceful steps and resonant chants. On the field, members poured their passion into every event—from team relays like “Funny Shrimp” and “4×100m Mixed Relay” to individual feats. Lu Xiaobing came sixth in middle-aged men’s beanbag accuracy event; Jia Haiyan soared to third in youth men’s high jump; Chen Zuobing pushed through 1500m for seventh with grit.

 

 

 

 

Behind these highlights lay unseen strength from the School: the organizing committee’s meticulous planning, worker union’s coordination, and silent dedication from student volunteers—each moment a testimony to collective power.

The meet ignited enthusiasm for sports and collaboration, which can well be channelled everyday teaching, research, and administration to achieve excellence and propel  the higher-quality development at both school and university.
