To further strengthen university-enterprise collaboration, expand employment opportunities, and align talent training with industry needs, a delegation from the School of Foreign Languages and Literatures, led by Zhang Hongli, Vice Dean Dean of the school, He Min, Executive Director of the Institute of Translation Studies, and He Lixia, Senior Administrator of the Office of Education and Teaching, visited several enterprises in Wuhan and Xi’an from December 1 to 3. The team carried out enterprise engagement meetings and inaugurated new multi-language internship bases, building bridges for collaborative talent cultivation.

The delegation visited Transn IOL Technology Co., Ltd., Gaotu Education Technology Group’s Wuhan and Xi’an centers, Shaanxi Huilan Technology Co., Ltd. and the Xi’an branch of Eagle Eye Translation Service Co., Ltd. They gained an in-depth understanding of each company’s development, business landscape, and industry trends, and held discussions on cooperation in talent training and student internships and employment.



The School held extensive discussions with company leaders and key business representatives, and conducted unveiling ceremonies for multi-language internship bases with Transn IOL, Shaanxi Huilan Technology, and the Xi’an branch of Eagle Eye Translation Service. During the meetings, Zhang Hongli introduced the SFLL’s recent achievements in discipline development, program enhancement, and talent cultivation. She emphasized that university-enterprise cooperation is essential for strengthening students’ practical skills and supporting high-quality employment. She noted that the newly established internship bases would help the SFLL better match enterprise talent needs, refine training programs, and prepare more well-rounded and professionally competent graduates.
Company representatives warmly welcomed the delegation and provided detailed introductions to their development history, industry dynamics, and talent demands. They expressed strong recognition of the SFLL’s talent cultivation quality and conveyed clear intentions for deepening future cooperation. Transn IOL expressed willingness to build stable cooperation in joint translation talent training, internship programs, and graduate employment. Gaotu Education Technology Group noted that it would offer customized internship positions for students along with systematic pre-employment training and career guidance. Shaanxi Huilan Technology expressed interest in collaborating on joint research projects, academic translation publications, and internship and employment programs. Eagle Eye Translation Service stated that the internship base would serve as a starting point for expanding cooperation into curriculum co-development, dual-teacher team building, and joint book publishing, promoting deeper integration of industry, academia, and research.


The enterprise visits and internship base agreements help further strengthen channels for university-enterprise collaboration, provided industry-oriented guidance for talent training, and created broader platforms for students’ internship and employment development.
